Recent Project: Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport

We stay busy around here at Futimis. In addition to our work in Hilton Head, New York, and LA we have numerous projects going on in our own backyard at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport where we are currently working on multiple concessions projects.

The airport here in Atlanta has been consistently upgrading all the concourses over the last few years. For passengers that means more choices and better options for meals on the run as they rush to catch flights, and even some cozier spots to sit, relax, and enjoy some good food while waiting on a lengthy layover. For us that means new projects, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

In the past few months we have worked with some great people out at the airport and most recently opened up a new restaurant on Concourse B. The Coffee Bean and Purple Leaf is a unique space, especially for the Atlanta airport. The finishes are clean and modern with a true European feel. We were able to use quite a bit of resin, quartz, back painted glass, and LED lights to create a truly eye catching bar that is as functional as it is beautiful.

In the spring our work will be featured in several other concessions spaces in addition to the food court at Concourse A where we are installing a resin and stainless steel ceiling sculpture that runs nearly the entire length of the area. Next time you’re running through to make your connection, take a brief moment to look at our work, and please let us know what you think!
